Grants from the Ministry


Access to higher education in Spain has improved thanks to the numerous options for obtaining grants. It is now very difficult for someone with good academic grades in Spain to be excluded from the university system due to financial reasons.

 

The combined set of grants and aid for the 2008-2009 academic year is worth nearly €1.2 billion, €171.2 million more than the previous year, an increase of 17.1%. Here is a list of all published aid programs:

Loans ? a way of financing your master studies

The system of approved loans in Spain for the 2007-2008 academic year is one of the best in Europe. In 2008, some €150 million was allocated for this purpose, to assist in the financing of university master studies.
